My pal Jon Chandler requsted here that I drew him a picture of the character Thufir Hawat from David Lynch‘s Dune as played by top-notch actor Freddie Jones. Jones is probably best known for playing the horrible character of Bytes in The Elephant Man. I’m ashamed to say that I’d assumed he died but found out recently that he is sill alive and kicking and is now a regular on Emmerdale (a fate worse than death?). It makes me wish that we had a British Film industry if only to give Jones some hammy rolls to sink his teeth into.
