Having finished Comic Insights I am now reading Ha Bloody Ha by William Cook on the recommendation of the comedian David Trent. Like Comic Insights, it’s interviews with various famous comedians but this time from the British perspective. The book is now out of print so instead of a picture of the book I’ve used picture of me performing a lovely gig at Clown Chowder last week (How did that get in there?). Although the book is out of print you can still pick it up for next to nothing here. Read it and let me know what you think. Come on gang, it’s like when Richard and Judy used to do it (God rest their souls).

I think this is the best book on comedy. Ever.
I like the sections it is divided into.
I like the bit where he writes about Ben Elton spitting on an audience member.
I really really like it.
I like it loads so far.
Well if it’s good enough for Metcalfe and Trent it’s good enough for me!
Just received my second hand copy of “Ha Bloody Ha” today from Amazon. I like it already, I like the sections it is divided into and I like Stewart Lees advice about what to do if a gig goes badly.
