Here’s another bad photo of me, but a lot of people seem to like this one. It’s even been used to promote my gigs. This photo was taken in Edinburgh, on Friday 7th August 2009 by Jake Moore the day before we started our Festival show, which as James Acaster pointed out is probably why I look so optimistic. I am carrying a copy of the poster for our show in a tube, not a massive baguette, as has been suggested. I am wearing my much admired Team Zissou T-shirt from the film The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, one of my top three films from the last decade. I bought it here before anyone asks.
