Yesterday the copy of The Jethro Tull Christmas Album I’d ordered arrived. Now I’ve mentioned before that I’m a big fan of Christmas records particularly Christmas albums by one specific group. I’ll buying pretty much any Christmas album. I’m also no stranger to buying Christmas records out of season (even if this time only slightly). However it just occured to me that I have no idea what Jethro Tull even sound like. Sure I’ve heard of them and I imagine they’re like a 70s prog/folk or something, but I don’t know. Rightly or wrongly they summon up images of a bearded man playing a flute (or violin) in my head, but that’s about it.
Maybe I’ve gone too far this time…

Yep, beardy man on flute is about right. I used to love the albums “Aqualung” and “Thick as a Brick”. The former has “Locomotive Breath”, one of my favourite songs ever! All available on Spotify.
Aqualung is by far the most annoying song to do on Rock Band 2. Kill it with bricks.
