So we’re now all over half way through the 100 days challenge and Josie Long has put up a video announcing a new caviat. This week is Love Week so as well as posting a blog every day I will also include a link to a favourite “Love Song”, and by this I mean a song with the word “Love” in the title. It can be, but doesn’t necessarily have to be a love song. My first choice is Sweet Love Child by Anthony Newley. It’s taken from Can Hieronymous Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humpe and Find True Happiness?; the autobiographical movie that Newley wrote, directed, starred in and wrote the music for. The lyrics are written by Herbert Kretzmer who went on to write Les Miserables. This confessional piece is about Newley‘s obsession with bedding young women. Really. Creepy but brilliant.

Nathaniel.
I just joined lovefilm.
I need a blogpost about films that I will love but have not seen.
Do it for me please.
OK Trent. I’ll see what I can do…
Thanks.
What was that film about the Brian Jonestown Massacre? That was good.
It was DIG!
