I first introduced to this song just a couple of years ago via my good friend Beezer B’s blog, and it’s now easily one of my very favourite seasonal Christmas records. I put it under the category of “Heartbreaking Christmas”, but Christmas or no Christmas this is just a fantastic Soul record and here it is.
The song was originally released as a single in 1973 before finding a permanent home on their 1978 album Sunshine.
