Here’s me at Comedy on the Hill on Thursday November 26th 2009. I am either doing my Free Willy routine or my opticians joke, so I am either saying “there are actually three words for opticians” or “…and even if if I was asked to explain the entire plot of the movie Free Willy in just three words…”. I must have been doing one of those bits here too.
Comedy on the Hill was a lovely gig organized by Timmy Manners. You’ll notice that the M in COMEDY has fallen off the wall.
Here’s me and the comedian Matt Highton cutting up those felt letters before the gig.
I like this picture. It looks as if I’m scribbling notes about what I’m about to say before my gig, whereas actually this is after I’d been on, during the interval and I’m actually trying to think up rude anagrams of COMEDY ON THE HILL that we can rearrange those felt letters into.

These photos look like they are from the 70s. Did you go back in time to do comedy? Because if you did the Free Willy joke wouldn’t have gone well.
Yeah, I did the Barefoot Executive story. It was topical.
