…is upon us, so technically you could say that after 14 days I’ve failed to live up to my promise of updating my blog once a day. Well you could say that, if you’re an arsehole, but I prefer to think better of you. You see dear reader, the sun hasn’t gone down on my day yet. I’m very tired but still awake, so what’s keeping me from my bed? It’s this gosh-darn blog, that’s what! So even though this blog won’t have an update for the 14th December I figure that as long as this blog has 100 updates over 100 days then I’m still on target. In the spirit of It’s a Wonderful Life “No Man is a Failure Who has Friends” and I was visiting some of mine this evening thus preventing me from writing this blog. Let me explain further.
I’ve been without internet access all day at work, and had arranged to meet my University friends Rob and Herlee after work at Herlee’s place in Beckenham, so I always knew that today this blog business was gong to be a bit of a trial. In future I probably need to to have some emergency posts ready for these unforseen circumstances if I’m ever going to see this thing through. I can see the same thing happening tomorrow too because after work I’m off to see Daniel Kitson at the Union Chapel.
Anyway tonight was good fun. I hadn’t seen Rob and Herlee in months. Not since we went to see the Italian prog rock group Goblin together. Herlee had a 50% off coupon from Pizza Hut and so egged on by the offer I ordered myself a large pizza. I ate half of it.
I also thought I might still be hungry and so also thought it’d be a good idea to order myself a side of chicken wings. I am both proud of myself and bitterly disappointed that I couldn’t finish it. I’m as stuffed as the crust of the half a large Pizza I’ve just consumed. After watching the Steve Coogan episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm we played Rock Band and Beatles’ Rock Band. I’d never played either before and I must say it was much more fun than I would’ve expected. Singing is the most fun but after having a go at “In Bloom” and “Gimme Shelter” my voice was shot to pieces. Drums are just as much fun too, but the guitar option is just silly and frustrating, and that opinion has nothing to do with me rubbish at it, even though I was.
More tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

I’m curious to find out what blog platform you are utilizing? I’m having some small security problems with my latest website and I would like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?
