So I’ve been through the Christmas Radio Times now and let me be the first to recommend The Barefoot Executive, that will be showing on Monday 21st December at 9.50am on BBC2.
I will also be performing my related routine that very evening at:
West End Comedy Club
The Comedy Pub
7 Oxendon Street
London
SW1Y 4EE
8:30pm (8pm Doors)
£5
Should be interesting. It probably won’t surprise many to know that I own a copy of the poster above. Also here’s a related early Christmas present for anyone who cares.
I watched A Day Out yesterday, which was Alan Bennett’s first TV play from 1972 on BBC2 (directed by Stephen Frears). I love any archive telly from this era. I don’t understand why there isn’t a channel that just shows this stuff all the time. Why isn’t this what UK Gold is for instead of endless repeats of Only Fools and Horses that are already on telly more than the news. I’d love to share it with you but the only thing I can find online of it are these few clips here.
Also thanks to top comic Alistair Greaves for spotting that you can now watch It’s a Wonderful Life in it’s entirety online here.

Man, loving this blogging. It’s like My Two Dads again.
It is just like that. That’s just how it feels.
Every day a new surprise! Like an advent calendar….that lasts forever (well, 100 days actually).
Maybe longer, who knows?
