Here’s a picture of me performing at Bestival last weekend from the Isle of Wight County Press website.
I’d foolishly decided to try and get to the Isle of Wight and back in a day to avoid camping at a Festival for the second week running. This meant I spent about 90 minutes in total at the Festival, arriving ten minutes before the comedy show started. Wandering lost behind the main stage and searching for the comedy tent I half expected to be leapt on by some burley security guard thinking I must have snuck backstage with the intention of assassinating Mika (I was really) , but no. I obviously had all the right armbands so no one said a word to me. In fact in the end I had to ask one of the said burley security guards where I needed to go, and he obliged. After my 10-15 minute gig I drank a Red Bull Cola and decided I better start thinking about going home. Just before leaving the fenced off enclosure I thought I better attempt to have a wee, not knowing how long it’d be before I saw another and headed to a nearby chemical toilet. My first sight upon leaving the fenced off area was a queue, a mile long for the chemical toilets for the regular punters, or muggles as they’re known. I swelled with pride and thought to myself on this petty victory
“look at me ma, I’ve made it!”
Myself and Jake Moore‘s Edinburgh show has been reviewed here. I get a nice write-up but it’s ridiculously unfair on Jake.

Weird review! I suggest that Jake Moore listen to the old adage and say the f-word to the haters.
You are a nonce for going to Bestival for only 90s minutes.
“Meandering” is the word that never quite comes out when I’m trying to describe your stuff. Meandering is it. Yes. Must remember.
“His Sugar Puffs/Honey Monster comment is the stuff of dreams.”
Indeed it is!
