Press Release
Jake Moore & Nathaniel Metcalfe/PBH’s Free Fringe presents….
Moore & Metcalfe in “Fun Dryer”
8th-22nd August @ 16.10 (60 Mins)
James Acaster introduces Jake Moore and Nathaniel Metcalfe as they perform an hour of gloriously free stand up comedy.
Jake Moore has been gigging for nearly 12 months, in that period of time he has reached the semi final of a major competition, the final of a small competition and made very little impact whatsoever. Jake will be using his time in “Fun Dryer” as a huge drive for publicity, expect him to sacrifice animals.
“Really great stuff” – Alan Moore
“Really brilliant, like a young Johnny Vegas” – Luke Toulson
“Like all good comedy, you had to be there.” – Norwich Evening News
Nathaniel Metcalfe has been gigging for over two years now. He got through to the semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny? in 2007 after only five gigs. Since then Nathaniel has reached the quarter finals of other major competitions in both 2008 and 2009, and runs the London club Tombola of Fun which has become popular with audiences and comics alike.
“Brilliant and unusual and very funny” – Josie Long
